This is a custom-ordered RRCH-12 made in 2013. While there are some scratches, dents, cracks, and tarnish on some parts, it is in relatively good condition overall. There are no issues with use.
The RR series was designed as F.C.G.R.'s first original model and was officially announced and released in 2003, making it a very special series for us. The RRCH features a unique hollowbody construction with a carved top, making it a very limited-production model. The most distinctive feature of this guitar is its beautiful flame koa top. (The standard model is a spruce top.) The RRCH's carved top is made from rare flame koa, hand-carved from a considerable thickness by skilled craftsmen. The finish is an all-nitrocellulose lacquer. While there are scratches, dents, and natural cracking in various places, these add to the instrument's dignified character. We've posted numerous images to accurately convey the overall appearance of the guitar, but please note that some minor scratches and cracks may be difficult to capture on camera.
The body back is made of one-piece alder, the neck is made of Honduran mahogany (specified as Premium Grade Mahogany), and the fingerboard is made of ebony. It features a lightweight, single-cutaway, original body shape that's comfortable to play whether standing or sitting.
The body features an "original slit sound hole" on the side. By placing the sound hole on the side rather than the top of the body, the air damping (vibration) that occurs inside the body when picking is transmitted to the entire top of the body without any loss.
The pickup is the now-rare "VooDoo Pickups HB-New." It features an Alnico II bar magnet wound on a bobbin with AWG42 black enamel wire. This model inherits the sound of the VooDoo HB series while focusing on a more modern sound. The use of Alnico II and tightly overwound coils creates a sharp yet powerful sound with a clear, wide-range appeal.

This is a precious guitar crafted with the skill of skilled artisans using a generous amount of rare materials. The unique hollow body creates a sense of boxy resonance, while the beautiful high frequencies and brightness of the koa wood give it an extremely pleasant, rich sound. Even a light pluck will provide a blissful experience.
