Lockable Bridge
Reduce the rattles and undesirable resonance, and eliminate other problems of typical TOM type bridges
We designed this product to eliminate the problems that commonly occur in Tune-O-Matic (ABR-1 type) bridges - such as: changes in intonation during string changes, and instability of tuning.
The three special features of this bridge are:
1. A locking cap on top of the bridge, to squeeze the bridge to the thumb-screw and fully fix it to the body.
2. The saddles are semi-fixed by the octave adjustment screws without using the retainer-fixing method.
3. For the bearings of the octave-adjustment screws, we use a resin washer.

Since this bridge is fully fixed to your guitar, it will not rattle or fall of during string changes, and thereby alter your favourite settings. The increased rigidity also helps to improve sustain and resonance.
＊I you are installing this bridge on a guitar equipped with a standard ABR-1, you can use this bridge as a drop-in replacement without any additional machining (use the inch-compliant top-cap). Depending on how tightly the top-cap nut is adjusted, you can also vary the sound signature slightly: tighter clamping leads to a brighter and clearer sound, and looser settings result in a warmer tone.
Brass saddles
These give good sustain, and a mellow and melodic sound. A popular choice for the guitar.
Titanium saddles
These give a sharper sound that cuts through the mix better than usual. Especially for complex chordal playing, the crisp separation between notes is evident. This material is also rust-proof.
Nylon saddles
These give a rounder, warmer sound, with an emphasised bass response, all while retaining good cohesion. Due to the low friction of these saddles, even if you use them on a Bigsby-style tremolo, tuning stability will be better than with metal saddles.
