A tremolo unit that combines vintage sound and excellent functionality.

To reproduce the wonderful tone of a vintage tremolo unit, F.C.G.R. has paid particular attention designing the trem block in a way that maintains good tension. To that end, we have used an unpainted stainless-steel block with chamfered edges, and we have made the string ball-end retaining holes shallower. To reduce the likelihood of string breakage, we have tapered the edge of the holes where the strings are touching the base plate. To accommodate players who prefer thicker gauge strings, we have made the operating range of the saddles longer, so that appropriate intonation can be achieved with all string gauges. As a result, we have produced a tremolo unit which produces a vintage tone, rich in sustain and expressive with overtones.
